A fine antique Victorian cast iron and brass fire basket, a tall arch fireback encompassing a rainbow panel, supported by scalloped side panels connecting to a pillared four bar front, set with sunburst embellishments to each lower corner, capped with attractive bobbin finials. The brass pierced apron piece allows the ash pan to be removed in the form of a drawer.
