A well proportioned late 19th Century French splayed steel & brass fireplace insert.

 

A wide outer frame with applied polished steel plates creating a framed border, these in turn host repeating polished brass dragooned balls. Substantial polished steel splayed return ingos connect onto a steel framed fire opening displaying the same repeating polished brass balls. The three barred fire front with further steel ball finials, a removable ash pan door below.
