A large and beautifully proportioned late Victorian Pine fireplace surround in the Georgian manner. A break front ogee corniced top shelf with a secondary shelf over a bolection shaped frieze embellished with enchanting repeating acanthus leaves.
A tall pair of jambs edged with staff bead floral decoration, central to this design is a framed dog-leg opening encompassing daisies & dart with intermittent Anthymion decoration all resting on plain foot blocks.
Shown with its original Fior Di Pesco marble in grounds that are removable. This piece would also suit a central fire basket grate, or wood burning stove.

Primed in dark grey, ready to receive a final colour and finish by others.
