A larger than normal 19th Century Georgian manner polished steel fireplace insert. A generous polished outer plate with an applied raised lambs tongue moulding, encompassing a central tablet with a projecting polished disc.

 

The four bared shaped fire front, flanked by polished brass finals-complete with three balled cushion spaces below, a pierced fret under apron, below, a removable ash pan door with polished brass handle. We also have the original gas jet fire insert for this. This piece is suitable for both a gas jet fire or solid fuel burning. We also have an electrical hot coal look fire insert that would suit this piece.
