A handsome and substantial, late 19th century antique cast iron Baroque style hooded Victorian fire grate with a brass riveted and repousse hood. A three barred serpentine grate flanked by standards topped by brass finials, flanked by integral lidded vase andirons and finials with lion masks holding rings in their mouths in the Baroque manner, a pull-out internal ash drawer with a cast apron of linked urns and tendrils, flanked in turn by a framed rosette to each side, the whole resting on bulb tapered legs.
