An elegant and detailed Regency style richly veined Verde Tinos & Statuary marble fireplace surround with bronze ormolu mounts. A reeded top shelf sits above a frieze hosting a central tablet with a symmetrical bronze ormolu mount, flanked by recessed panels of reeding. The tall slim stepped jambs with further recessed reeding surmounted with end blocks showing bronze ormolu-mounted wreaths, the whole resting on wraparound foot block work.
